Our Silk Dress is made from 100% non-violent organic Silk (Ahimsa silk) from Jharkhand, India.

Non-violent silk or Peace Silk means that unlike traditional methods, the silkworms survive the production of the silk, because they are allowed to hatch from their cocoons. The butterflies that hatch become part of the natural cycle and increase the biodiversity in the region. The Peace Silk is also produced under fair working conditions and does not use any pesticides, fungicides or genetic engineering.

The silk is dyed or printed with GOTS-certified colors in India.
