Our Silk Top is made from 100% cruelty-free organic Silk (Ahimsa Silk) from Jharkhand, India.

Cruelty-free Silk or Peace Silk means that unlike traditional methods, the silkworms survive the production of the silk as they are allowed to hatch from their cocoons. The butterflies that hatch become part of the natural cycle and increase the biodiversity in the region. The Peace Silk is also manufactured under fair working conditions without the use of pesticides, fungicides or genetic engineering.

The Silk is printed with GOTS-certified colors in a design of embroidered patterns.
