Our Silk Shirt is made from 100% Nonviolent Organic Silk (Ahimsa Silk) from Jharkhand, India.

Nonviolent Silk or Peace Silk means that unlike traditional methods the silkworms survive the production of the silk because they are allowed to hatch from their cocoons. The butterflies that hatch become part of the natural cycle and increase the biodiversity in the region. The Peace Silk is also produced under fair working conditions and does not use pesticides, fungicides or genetic engineering.

The detailed glass bead embroidery is embroidered by our Indian embroiderers using old traditional methods with the finest MIYUKI 100% handmade glass beads from Japan.
